| Islamic Center of Saginaw 114 N. 4th Ave. Saginaw, Michigan 48607 Year of Completion: 2011 Construction of a new Islamic Center consisting of 14,000 square feet of floor area, including all associated site development work. The facility includes a Mosque for 350 worshippers, along with a Gathering Space with the necessary restroom and Ablution facilities. A Multi-Purpose space containing provisions for religious education classrooms, courts for recreational sports, and Banquet space for about 380 persons. Additional support spaces include a kitchen, storage and mechanical spaces and an administrative office area. |
| Bronner's Silent Night Chapel 25 Christmas Lane Frankenmuth, MI 48737 Year of Completion: 1991 Although, 20% larger the chapel is an exact replica of the original Stille Nacht Kapelle in Oberndorf, Austria. The Chapel was built from drawings that were prepared by Ron Bronner from drawings and pictures taken while on a visit to the original chapel. |
| St. Lorenz Lutheran Church Steeple 1030 W. Tuscola Road Frankenmuth, MI Year of Completion: 1996 Due to a tornado damage was done to the roof and steeple. The roof was lifted off the bearing wall and the steeple was leaning 15 inches off center at the elevation of the cross, with one side lifted 1.5 inches above its bearing point, causing the steeple to lean. The roof was pulled back and tied back down and a scaffold was built around the tower. Approximately 8,000 loose brick were replaced and the steeple pulled back to its original position by a series of turnbuckles and tiedowns. The cornice at the base of the steeple was replaced as was the cross at its pinnacle. |
